Or, "Why I Started a Blog"
Published on July 21, 2004 By Andy_NM In Current Events

Over the years I've maintained a variety of personal websites. They were lots of fun, sure, but once I started doing web dev work and getting paid for it, the fun that came with updating or redesigning my own site that only five people looked at anyways wore off fairly quickly. Now, I quit that job two years ago and I've wanted to do my own personal website ever since. So I've started designing and writing and pondering what kind of content I can offer, etc., etc. Those initiatives come in spurts (at best) and are usually during the summer or winter when I have no schoolwork to speak of and I'm seeking some outlet for my creative energies. And then, of course, the attraction fades once I become busy again with school. So, I was thinking about what I really wanted to do with a website and I realized that all I wanted to do was dispense my opinions which grow increasingly more fervid by the day.

So here we are, the blog. All the goodness of self-expression without the pain in the butt of graphic design, site structure, etc.

What you can expect to see here in the coming weeks is a variety of unsolicited opinions on a variety of subjects. Whatever is on my mind or under my skin. (Probably more of the latter.)

Good idea, but I think I could set you up with something a little more easy to work with off of my site at rabbid10.us. Plus, I can set you up with a PHPNuke fron end, or even your own blogger. Just a thought. =^)
